My factors

Keep only the factors this calculation needs

Keep the factors you picked in your workspace. We do not copy the value, so when the source is revised your list follows.

  • Mixed-unit warning (summing as-is breaks the total)
  • The same table as factor search, with the same filtering and sorting
  • Stored per company workspace
My factors screen. Saved factors are laid out by product, maker, factor, unit, year, grade, region and source.

Same as a spreadsheet: Name box and formula bar, drag to select a range, copy, arrow keys, Tab and Enter to move, count, sum and average of the selection, drag column widths and row heights, reorder columns, freeze panes.

What is different

The value is never copied

Saving records the factor, not the number that was showing. That is why a revision at the source moves this list too.

Mixed units come first

If kg and t sit in the same list we say so. Summing without noticing is wrong by a factor of 1,000.

One table with Find factors

The same table as factor search, holding only what you kept. Filtering, sorting and search work identically on both.
