Defines how emissions from operational-waste treatment and transport to the treatment site are calculated.
산정 방법 (Method)
Category 5 is average-data, summing two parts: treatment (waste quantity × a factor specific to the waste type × treatment method — landfill/incineration/recycling — identified via the national waste and treatment code scheme) and transport to the treatment site (distance-based).
계산 공식 (Formula)
배출 = (폐기물량 × 처리계수) + 처리장 운송(거리기반)- Waste quantity is what was actually sent for treatment, not what was generated.
- Treatment factor is keyed by the combination of waste type and treatment route — landfill, incineration, and recycling differ sharply, so type alone does not determine the factor.
- Transport to the treatment site counts even when a licensed contractor performs it; the emission is attributed to the party that outsourced the waste.
- ⚠️ Do not net off avoided emissions from recycling here — that double-counts; report any avoided-emission claim separately.
